You can close your account online in less than 5 minutes - even if you don't know your user ID and password. If you have a paid account, you also have the option to stop automatic payments and downgrade to a free account.

I'm paying with a credit or debit card, or have a free account

Here's what to do:

  1. Go to and log in with your user ID and password. If you don't remember these, visit our account lookup page to get them.
  2. After logging in, click on the "Close Account" link under the "My Account" menu at the top-right of your screen. (Refer to the screen shot on the right.)
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your cancellation.

I'm paying with a PayPal account

In this case, you will need to log into your PayPal account to cancel your subscription. We have posted step-by-step instructions here.

If you don't know your PayPal email and password, you will need to use PayPal's online system to look up your account and/or reset your password.

I don't remember my payment method

If you have a paid account, you can check your credit card or bank transactions. If the charge was from PayPal, then you are using a PayPal account. Otherwise, it's from us.
